Balance and invoices
Recharge the pay-as-you-go balance, turn on auto top-up and alerts, and download invoices.
Everything about paying lives on Billing: the plan, the usage, the pay-as-you-go balance and your invoices.
The Billing page

Recharge the balance
- In Pay-as-you-go balance, pick a recharge amount or choose Custom and type an amount within the limits shown.
- Select Recharge. The dialog shows the top-up, the VAT and the total you'll pay, and the card that will be charged.
- Select Pay to confirm.
The balance pays for overage on your plan's allowances at your plan's overage rate, and for add-ons that aren't in any plan at the list rate.
Auto top-up
Turn on Top up automatically when the balance runs low and choose the Amount and the threshold under When the balance drops below. Auto top-up charges the card on file, so it becomes available after your first manual top-up saves a card.
With auto top-up off, if the balance reaches zero during overage, delivery pauses and you get an email.
Alerts
Under Alerts, choose the emails OctaVideo sends:
- when any allowance reaches its alert level,
- at 100%, when overage starts,
- when the balance drops below an amount you choose.
Set the address in Send alerts to, for example your finance team's shared inbox. Every change is saved at once.
Invoices
Transactions & invoices lists each transaction with its date, description, amount, VAT and total:
- Download an invoice as a PDF from its row.
- Export CSV downloads the list for your accounting.
- Older invoices are available on request from support@octavideo.tech.
Billing details
Select Edit billing details to change the Legal name, the optional Tax ID and the Address printed on your invoices. Changes apply to invoices from then on. Changing the country needs a review: select Ask for a review.
